Just came back from town. After working as Liason Officers for NBC, they gave us complimentary tickets for tonight's honour band/award presentation concert. While, most bands screwed up esp the first few bands with haywired woodwinds and flutes there were so out of tune that even a partially deaf person like me can tell... The most impressive band was the band from Japan, Aemichi Median Band... They really WOW the crowd and everyone with their slick moves that if tk band saw it they would be ashamed and the timing/rhythm perfect pieces. They are playing solo next week but tickets are a bit pricey. $20 for stall and $25 for circle.
Shan and i felt that one girl in the percussion section was damn zai she was damn pro with the drum set like fish in the water, then when it was gg to be a long call and response from the percussion section, the whole band moved together and clapped the same rhythm...
VERY SYNCHRONISED AND SLICK AND DISCIPLINED!!Happy Belated Birthday Ms Sia!!After the concert, we took pictures with Ms Sia and Joel. We also ask Mr Phua out for dinner and we had Crystal Jade La Mian for dinner and Yina was on a look out for u know who that she even tiptoed when we passed one chinese resturant. Mr Phua then sent us home. Thanks Mr Phua.
I am still waiting for photos from Shan but here is one first.
