Kids nowadays are OMG!!!! The way they behave in public, puts the MOE and their parents to shame that their children have no "jia jiao"... Went out with my mother today to pass her ba chang to her friend in Orchard. And guess what, yup the school holidays are here and the school is out in Orchard.... Well it was quite crowded.... Even though there was so MANY ppl, there was this couple about JC aged smooching and u know what at the entrance of the MRT... Much worse, when some adults started complaining about inproper behaviour in public, the male counterpart started swearing loudly in Hokkiein at everyone.... GOODNESS..... kids these days... Seeing this makes me ponder were we like that a yr ago???? Or even worse the improper behaviour was left as it was... without correction... What does this signals about Singaporeans... that we are dun care abt social norms and the moral values anymore... Does this prove to us that all the "hao gong ming" and civics and moral lessons are useless and redundant.. That they are there so that the table time is filled up????
